THURSDAY 11TH OF MARCH
This week I was back in Melksham so I enjoyed some further beautiful walks(in particular one to the white horse near Devizes). Regardless of my love for portraiture I still think its vital to my mind to experience scenery around me as it stimulates my brain in terms of photography ideas and my own personal self. I think its key to remain mentally healthy when wanting to create art- I know many artists who where mentally ill ( ie Vincent Van Goth) who obviously are now household names but I think art can be formed and expressed from past emotions and for me I need a clear head to do my best work.
Besides this I continued on with some secondary research whilst we where given a site to help us with our work. This was called the 'Association of Photographers' and had a whole vat of information and filled with prestigious and upcoming photographers.
I started putting together my primary research questions for the interviews I have started to conduct with the people I have taken photos of. To include a even bigger range of opinions I also developed a survey which I posted on my instagram. Unfortunately theres a limited amount of survey facilities that are free online. I used a app called 'Survey Monkey' which IS free but the catch is it only gives you access to the first 40 results before you have to invest money. Still 40 results is a fairly good quantity however I have to be aware my project will be slightly bias as the main demographic of my followers are in the age category of around 18-20.
Im excited to see if people share the same ideas in terms of my relationship networks but I also want to see some opposition.
